About the Promoters
Since picking up the weights for the first time in 1991, Adam Aulenback’s passion for the sport of bodybuilding began. After just a few of years of weight training, Adam made the decision to become a certified personal trainer and coach to help other people transform their lives through health and fitness.
After helping many others to achieve their goals, Adam set a goal for himself to enter his first bodybuilding contest at the age of 20. At his first show he won first place in his class, and much to his surprise, he won the overall too. Adam followed his passion and continued to compete in many more shows over the next 10 years, winning many trophies and awards including best poser.
After hanging up his competition trunks, Adam became a General Manager of GNC. He simultaneously continued to help many competitive, and non-competitive, athletes realize their goals as a personal trainer and coach.
Adam later became a judge for the Nova Scotia Bodybuilding Association (NSABBA), and also joined the NSABBA Board of Directors. Shortly after, Adam went on to become a National Canadian Bodybuilding Federation (CBBF) Judge, and an Executive Director of the NSABBA.
With the introduction of the one-show format at the CBBF level, it was necessary to calculate and verify the judges’ stats immediately, this included breaking any ties between competitors automatically using statistical methods. Based on these critical requirements, Adam developed the Contest Stats program which was easily able to satisfy these needs. Upon seeing the power of the program, Adam was asked to be a National CBBF Statistician using his Contest Stats program at various National CBBF events which ensured dependable, fast, and accurate results. He continued to add additional features which greatly improved the registration check-in process for the athletes, and reduced their total check-in time to under 5 minutes per competitor. Due to its success, Adam has been asked to use his Contest Stats program at many different contests throughout the country, and it has proven to be an effective time-saver for everyone involved.
After an extreme accident involving Nova Scotia’s Head Judge, Adam was asked to step up to fill the roll. As the Head Judge for Nova Scotia, he developed a new check-in process flow which further reduced competitor check-in time, while simultaneously improving the consistency of accurate information collected from each athlete. He went on to continue to develop processes for use at the NSABBA and CBBF levels, and later decided to help competitors on another dimension when he made the decision to become a contest promoter.
It was when IFBB Pro Chris Johnson partnered with Adam to create a new natural show for athletes – and the Naturals Classic was born. Together they have put on seminars, workshops and clinics for the athletes, and are currently part of additional contests for athletes across Canada, so they may qualify for the CPA National Championships. Adam was appointed by Ron Hache as the CPA Director for Nova Scotia, and will continue to be Head Judge for Nova Scotia, as well as a National CPA Judge under the National Head Judge, Rudy Jambrosic.
Adam lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia with Sandrella, his wife, and Jasmine, their daughter. Outside of health and fitness, he enjoys carpentry, nature, and traveling.
Chris is the founder and owner of Advanced Genetics at AGArmy.com.
Chris is an IFBB Pro, and has been bodybuilding competitively for over 20 years.
He’s also a holistic nutritionist specializing in sports nutrition and athletic performance.
About AG Army…it all began in 2005.
But before the Army, there was a solitary iron warrior named Chris Johnson, a bodybuilder with an affection for advanced nutrition and supplementation. His passion led him to working with industry giants for over 12 years. Armed with the knowledge of the good, the bad and the ugly, Chris decided to start his own supplement company based on the products he wanted to use – Advanced Genetics was born.
The premise behind AG was to design effective supplements based on real science and real world experience. No proprietary blends, no false claims. Just high quality products manufactured in a state-of-the-art cGMP facility. Products that work!!!
From the launch of the original GP3 formula in 2005 to now, Advanced Genetics has become much more than one solitary soldier. Now the Army has grown to thousands of infantrymen and women throughout Canada and around the world. Armed with military grade supplements field-tested for building muscle and shredding body fat, the AG Army is stronger (and leaner) than ever!
If you haven’t yet joined our Army, our brotherhood of iron, now is the time. We welcome you no matter what your age, gender, physique level or nationality. This is an army of warriors…this is the AG Army! Wage WAR on Your Genetics!!!
